Family Farm School
Our Family Farm School class is designed to give children and families meaningful time outdoors in a safe, supportive farm environment, with plenty of space to explore, connect, and get their hands dirty.
This class blends guided, hands-on farm experiences with open-ended outdoor play. Throughout our time together, families will participate in farm-based activities focused on animal care, land care, and sustainable skills you can take home with you. We’ll spend time feeding, caring, and interacting with our horses, goats, chickens, ducks, and reptiles (in warmer months), and learning simple, practical skills focused on homesteading and understanding daily farm rhythms.
Each week, our farm guides introduce skills, model safe and respectful animal care, and facilitate meaningful learning moments while still allowing children plenty of freedom to explore the swings, mud kitchens, climbing structures, loose parts, digging areas, and sensory spaces around the property.
Children explore through a mix of purposeful farm tasks and wild & free play, building confidence and competence in a natural environment. This class encourages children and families to engage deeply with the land, the animals, and one another through hands-on, guided experiences.
This is a family-style session, with parents or caregivers remaining on site. Our guides facilitate activities and model engagement, while parents remain present and responsible for their child’s supervision and safety.
Memberships start at $96 per month, which includes one class per week for your entire family.
Drop-in spots are available based on class availability for $30 per child, per visit.
Please dress in weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes. We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle, snacks, and a change of clothes in case of mud or water play.
